Update 7/18/2026. The continuing conflict in Iran has drained over $150 billion from our economy in increased gas prices to date and military spending, average of $1300/household. There is no end in sight with the mid terms coming soon. Our deficit has hit another new high with no traditional Republican focus on cutting the deficit. Interest rates are projected to go even higher.
